Kong Skull Island first look: Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson lead the cast of this new adventure epic that will hit cinema screens in 2017.

The film doesn’t open in cinemas until March of next year, but this intriguing behind the scenes Kong Skull Island first look certainly grabbed our attention during the main show last night.
Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson, John Goodman, Jing Tian, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, John Ortiz, Shea Whigham and Toby Kebbell will star in the adventure movie, which will lead to a crossover with Godzilla in the year 2020.
In the Kong Skull Island first look featurette, Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Corey Hawkins, and Jason Mitchell take you inside the set of their new film. The behind the scenes look states that the action will take place at the time of the Vietnam war, and will follow a team of explorers who venture deep inside the treacherous, primordial island to find the Hiddleston’s character’s brother and a mythical serum, confronting extraordinary creatures along the way. This will obviously include the title character of King Kong. This looks absolutely epic.
We’re hearing that this one will follow a completely different timeline to the many King Kong movies that have preceded it, including the Peter Jackson version, but the story will have its foundations rooted within the existing Kong lore.
