Warner Brothers have finally confirmed that a solo Batman movie is in the works and it will be co-written and directed by none other than Ben Affleck.
Affleck will also obviously play the title character in the solo Batman movie, which is being referred to as The Batman. The news was announced at CinemaCon in Las Vegas by Warner Bros. chairman and CEO Kevin Tsujihara just yesterday. The announcement confirmed the news, which was rumoured some time ago.
In addition to The Batman, or whatever they decide to call the solo Batman movie, Affleck will also appear in both Justice League films, which are about to go into production over in London, England. The first of those movies, which will be directed by Zack Snyder, will debut in theaters on November 10, 2017. Justice Leage – Part 2, will debut a year later in 2018.
As well as those movies, stand-alone features for Wonder Woman, Aquaman and The Flash are also in varying stages of production, with the first being Wonder Women, which will hit screens in 2017 prior to the first Justice League movie.
