Cannes 2016: Official Selection line-up revealed

Pierre Lescure, President of the Festival de Cannes, and Thierry Frémaux, General Delegate, today announced the films that will be screening at The Festival de Cannes, will be held from May, 11th until May, 22th 2016.

What’s interesting is that Steven Spielberg will hit the croisette this year with The BFG, while Jodie Foster’s Money Monster and Shane Black’s The Nice Guys will also be screening out of competition..In competition, Jeff Nichols’ Loving, Nicolas Winding Refn’s The Neon Demon, Pedro Almodóvar’s Julieta and Sean Penn’s The Last Face will all play, along with Paterson from Jim Jarmusch, and I, Daniel Blake, directed by Ken Loach.
