The trailer for the Kristen Stewart film Personal Shopper has hit the web following its debut over here in Cannes just a couple of days ago. The film was met with mixed reaction, including reported boos at its first press screening, which THN were not present at. At the premiere the following day however, there was reportedly a standing ovation.
During the day, Maureen (Kristen Stewart) mid-20s, has a job she hates: she works as a personal shopper for the bitchy celebrity Kyra. She couldn’t find anything better to pay for her stay in Paris. During the night, she waits anxiously for a sign of her twin brother who died a few months earlier. As Maureen suddenly starts receiving threat messages from a stranger who follows her every move, everything she has gets completely out of control.
The trailer for the film is below. We’re waiting to hear if the film will be getting a UK theatrical run, but the Olivier Assayas directed feature will definitely be hitting US cinemas from this September. Sigrid Bouaziz, Lars Eidinger, Anders Danielsen Lie and Nora von Waldstätten also star.
