Horror Channel Becomes Official Frightfest Sponsor

Some Kind of Hate 3

We’re only a couple of weeks away from this year’s Frightfest to be announced and we at team THN are starting to get excited. The event which will this year take place at Vue Shepard’s Bush, embraces the ‘dark heart’ of cinema and runs from 25th – 29th August.

Ahead of the line-up being released it has been revealed that digital television channel, Horror Channel, will become the popular festivals headline sponsor.

Chris Sharp, Chief Programming Officer, AMC Networks International – UK, said the following about the collaboration:

“Horror is coming home. We were FrightFest’s banner sponsor in 2005 and 2006 and have maintained a very close partnership with the organisers and fans ever since. We’re thrilled to further cement that ‘bloody bond’ and look forward to celebrating the festival with a frighteningly good season of FrightFest favourites on the channel in August.”

FrightFest co-director Alan Jones added:

“FrightFest is thrilled to welcome Horror Channel on board as their new headline sponsor. Horror Channel has been a vital part of the FrightFest machinery for many years, so our on-going relationship is already built on solid foundations. Together we recognised the further potential in each other to celebrate the horror fantasy genre on an even wider canvas than before, something followers of both of our brands can appreciate”.

If you just can’t wait for this years event to kick off why not re-live the best of last year via Frightfest Presents, a digital platform housing some of the best titles of 2015.
