When it comes to style in Hollywood you just have to look at the numerous award ceremonies to see it in action. Looking at Hollywood through the years though, we see fashions and styles that have defined eras and stuck in our memories. Here are some men that have managed to stay stylish in a stylish way.
Humphrey Bogart
It is fair to say that many actors alive today would love to have the coolness that oozes out of Humphrey Bogart when we see him on screen. Always in a suit, and sometimes in a trench coat when he was on his Noir style adventures Bogart had it all. Effortlessly cool, Humphrey Bogart is one of the most iconic men ever to grace the silver screen.
Clark Gable
If an actor could match Bogart’s domination of Hollywood style it would have to be Clark Gable. Gone with the Wind is a perfect example of his power on the screen, as soon as he appears the focus is on his character and he dominates the entire shot. The man who has one of the most iconic lines ever to be said on screen, Clark Gable is one of the coolest men you’ll find in any movie.
George Clooney
Moving in to a more modern age, George Clooney is an actor who is arguably a very cool customer. When you think of somebody who knows how to wear a tuxedo and use it to its full potential to get your attraction it is Clooney. You just have to look to his coffee adverts to find proof of that.
Brad Pitt
Brad Pitt shares the screen in the Ocean’s Eleven movies with George Clooney, and offers a more edgy style to his fashion choices. This doesn’t keep him from stealing some of the attention though. Just as his character is often seen in competition with Clooney’s they both clamour for the attention through their styles.
Robert De Niro
Robert De Niro is another actor who brings a certain style to the silver screen, but also brings a darker edge with his performances. With Casino, his performance as Sam ‘Ace’ Rothstein showed this dark edge, but also was showed a charisma that highlighted his effortless style.
