We reported yesterday that Darth Vader is definitely going to appear in the forthcoming Star Wars spin-off Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, but the big follow-up news is that none other that James Earl Jones is definitely coming back to voice the character in the same movie.
Producer Kathleen Kennedy confirmed to EW that the actor would return to voice the iconic character, but don’t expect to see too much of him in the new film.
“He will be in the movie sparingly,” Kennedy said to the magazine. “But at a key, strategic moment, he’s going to loom large.”
No news on who will be physically playing the role of Vader, though the article says that a ‘variety of large-framed performers will embody the character behind the mask.’
