The new Tomb Raider movie is set to hit cinemas in March 2018. Alicia Vikander, who will next be seen in Jason Bourne will play the lead role of Lara Croft in the film, which has been in the offing for a little while.
Roar Uthaug (The Wave) is directing the new movie (do check out his impressive disaster movie – it’s quite impressive), while Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Transformers: The Last Knight) wrote the screenplay.
The film is based on the classic video game created by British gaming company Core Design. The exact release date will be March 16th, 2018.
