A couple of new Assassin’s Creed images have landed online ahead of the film’s release later this year. The images show off the two sides to Michael Fassbender‘s characters, Callum Lynch, and his ancestor Aguilar de Nerha.
Here’s the plot.
Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.
Justin Kurzel (Macbeth) is directing Assassin’s Creed, which is obviously based on the video game series of the same name. It will also star the likes of Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Brendan Gleeson and Michael Kenneth Williams, and will debut in the UK this coming Boxing Day (December 26th).
