The Guy Ritchie King Arthur movie has a new name and we have two new images to share.
The Guy Ritchie King Arthur movie will hit cinemas from next March.
It feels that every article that I post is linked to an image from Entertainment Weekly at the moment, but hey, they’re getting all of the scoops so hats off to them. Here’s another as the magazine/ website have delivered a new look at the Guy Ritchie King Arthur movie which will hit cinemas next summer.
The first Guy Ritchie King Arthur movie will now be called King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword (it was originally named Knights Of The Round Table: King Arthur), and will be the launch pad for a potential franchise over at Warner Brothers as long as it brings in the coin.
Along with the new images of Charlie Hunnam as Arthur and Jude Law as his Uncle Vortigern, EW have conducted a small interview where Hunnam talks about his character.
“He’s a bit rough around the edges, but he’s basically a survivor,” Hunnam told EW. “There’s definitely a harder edge than people would imagine.”
The mag also had more to share on Law’s character (above).
As the murderer of his brother and Arthur’s dad Uther Pendragon (Eric Bana) and the usurper of the throne, Vortigern has done more than enough to earn his nephew’s wrath, but backing him is a set of deadly magical powers that give him the upper hand.
King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword is written by Joby Harold and Lionel Wigram (who also collaborated on the Sherlock Holmes movies and last year’s The Man From U.N.C.L.E.), and is directed by Guy Ritchie.
Expect this one in cinemas from March 24th, 2017. We’ll bring you more as it pops up.
