First official Walking Dead season 7 pic
It has been customary over the past few years for The Walking Dead to make an appearance at the San Diego Comic Con each year on the Friday of the four day celebration and this year was no different.
The panel was awesome with the likes of Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan, Steven Yeun, Danai Gurira, Chandler Riggs, Sonequa Martin-Green, Michael Cudlitz, Josh McDermitt, Ross Marquand, and Christian Serratos turning up to greet their fans.
The panel was full of many interesting parts, the best of which was a brand new teaser trailer for season seven, which was confirmed to be returning to AMC on October 23rd with international markets, including the UK, getting it just one day later on the 24th October.
“It’s absolutely worth the wait,” executive producer Robert Kirkman said of the revealing Season 7 episode which is being directed by Greg Nicotero.
Andrew Lincoln added: “We all link arms, it’s a really shitty start to the season, but hang on because we are heading to one of the greatest showdowns of the show.”
Of course, we know that at least one of the crew meet their maker at the hands of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) at the start of the new series.
