Next Secret Cinema production could be a musical spectacular (spectacular) and a Spielberg classic.

The next Secret Cinema gigs could have been revealed in a series of mysterious social media posts.

Next Secret Cinema production revealed?

Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve been covering the latest Secret Cinema event here on The Hollywood News. That project was the superb Dirty Dancing where the organisers turned an East London park into the Kellerman’s resort from the famous movie. It was nothing short of awesome to be honest, and the 30,000 attendees sent the film hurtling into the top ten for the first time in 29 years. You can check out some images from the event here, and our review of proceedings over here.

As ever when one production closes, thoughts immediately turn to which movie they will concentrate their efforts on next, and we may just have figured out what they may be plotting. Over on their Facebook page they’ve been cunningly revealing what we may see over the coming months, and while we’ve had not word from our sources at the company behind the events, we think that the next two productions could be… Baz Luhrmann’s Moulin Rouge and Steven Spielberg’s classic movie E.T. – The Extra Terrestrial.

Secret Cinema posted this image on July 19th along with the words “The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return,” a line from the famous movie starring Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman.

Then, just last night, this hit their Facebook page.

Now, that’s the E.T. poster without the iconic silhouette of Eliot and E.T. on the flying bike, right?

If these are the two movies that will be given the immersive Secret Cinema treatment, we’re in for a belter of a time. There’s nothing on their official site as yet – just a flashing coming soon resides there, but all of the Dirty Dancing ticket into and details have been removed.

We’ll bring you more on the next Secret Cinema productions as we get it.
