With Star Wars Episode VIII now officially in the can, thoughts are turning to Episode IX, which is due in, oh, around three and a half years. We know no plot details about Rian Johnson’s Episode VIII as yet, but it looks like Mark Hamill may have dropped a huge hint as to whether we’ll see Luke Skywalker in the ninth movie. He posted the following to is 1m-plus Twitter followers.

So, while we’re not sure if Skywalker is definitely in Episode IX, we’ll take this as a pretty decent nod that he very well might be. Before we start to think too much towards that movie, we’ll have both Episode VIII, the solo Han Solo movie and of course, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story to look forward to.
