I’m not quite how much to believe this, but various sources are reporting that Daniel Craig has been offered an extortionate amount of money to return to the role of James Bond. The deal, which is for a reported $150 million, is for two more Bond movies, which, according to my estimates, is one more that he is actually contracted for.
The next Bond movie, which we’re expecting in 2018, is actually the 25th in the series – quite a significant milestone in the series – and would be Craig’s fifth, following Casino Royale, Quantum Of Solace, Skyfall and last year’s Spectre. Those four movies are the highest grossing in Bond’s history (accumulating to a huge $3 billion in worldwide box-office).
RadarOnline is reporting the new Bond rumour with a source telling the outlet, “The studio is desperate to secure the actor’s services while they phase in a younger long-term successor.”
“Daniel’s the key for a seamless, safe transition as far as Sony and Bond bosses are concerned, and they’re prepared to pay a king’s ransom to make it happen,” they added.
None of this has been confirmed by any official source, but if true, could make Craig one of the highest paid actors in the world – ever.
Daniel Craig is actually very busy currently – he is currently shooting Logan Lucky for an out-of-retirement Steven Soderbergh, and will then begin work on the TV series Purity.
We’ll bring you more as it comes in.

For that kind of money could they not just give life to a Sean Connery clone of the age 35, and make James Bond awesome again? Seems crazy for this clown… but hell, Clive Owen deserved the role back in the day.
