Filmmaker Zack Snyder has proved us with our first look at J.K. Simmons‘ Commissioner Gordon in the forthcoming Justice League. The film isn’t released until 2017, but that has’t stopped the director from teasing us with a monochrome image of Simmons alongside the famous Bat sign in the movie, which is still shooting in and around London. Take a look.
Simmons is officially wrapped on the film though. Here’s what he had to say previously.
“My part is done. They are filming that for basically most of 2016, so some of the superheroes are still at work in jolly old London, but I’m back home with my family…. (My scenes were) mostly with Ben. In this first installment of the Justice League, Commissioner Gordon is not a particularly sizable part. We just kind of introduce him and see a little bit of his interactions with Batman — and with most of the Justice League.”
Justice League will release next November. More as we get it.
