Three new posters and ten new photos from Marvel’s upcoming Doctor Strange have been unleashed online ahead of the film’s release next month. These are the U.S. posters, as you can tell from the film’s release date (it bows on November 4th Stateside), for the upcoming Benedict Cumberbatch starrer, which is directed by Scott Derrickson.
The film follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilising a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artefacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.
We also have a new trailer for the release, which is essentially a TV spot but does feature new footage from the upcoming film.
Doctor Strange also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo, Benedict Wong as Wong, with Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One and Mads Mikkelsen as the villain Kaecilius. Rachel McAdams , Michael Stuhlbarg, Scott Adkins, and Amy Landecker also star.
