Daisy Ridley, Michael Pena and Judi Dench have now joined ‘Murder On The Orient Express’

We reported yesterday that Johnny Depp and Michelle Pfeiffer may be joining Kenneth Branagh’s adaptation of the Agatha Christie story Murder On The Orient Express, and now their casting looks to be confirmed by trade paper The Hollywood Reporter.

They also report that Star Wars star Daisy Ridley, War On Everyone‘s Michael Pena and British icon Judi Dench are also boarding the project, which should start shooting before Christmas.

Branagh directs and will star as Belgian detective Hercule Poirot in the film, which revolves around a murder-mystery set aboard the famous Orient Express train.

The trade has the full lowdown on who everyone will playing. It says that Depp will play Ratchett, the man who is murdered, Pfeiffer will play Mrs. Hubbard, a glamorous and opinionated passenger with a secret, while Ridley will play Mary Debenham, a working-class woman in love with Arbuthnot. Dench will play Princess Dragomiroff, who hails from Russian royalty, while Pena appears as a Cuban passenger named Marquez. Hamilton star Leslie Odom Jr. will play Dr. Arbuthnot, and Tom Bateman, who will play the Frenchman Bouc. Lucy Boynton and Derek Jacobi will also star.

The film is set-up over at 20th Century Fox with Ridley Scott, Simon Kinberg, Mark Gordon and Branagh producing.
