The Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales teaser has arrived

The very first trailer for Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man Tell No Tales, the fifth movie in the popular series, has arrived online.

The teaser trailer doesn’t feature Johnny Depp‘s Jack Sparrow, but we do have a very good look at Javier Bardem‘s villain, Captain Salazar. Here’s the full plot.

Thrust into an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar (Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea…including him.  Captain Jack’s only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas.

Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg are directing the film from a screenplay from Jeff Nathanson. Depp and Bardem star alongside Orlando Bloom, Kaya Scodelario, David Wenham, Geoffrey Rush, Brenton Thwaites, and Paul McCartney. The film will finally sail into cinemas on May 25th, 2017.
