Matt Damon leads the second trailer for ‘The Great Wall’

Matt Damon is back from Mars and headed back in time for his latest project – The Great Wall. Directed by Zhang Yimou, the film sees Damon help defend the Great Wall of China against a horde of monstrous beasts. A new trailer has just reached the world of the interwebs after being unveiled at New York Comic-Con, watch it now below:

The identity of those creatures is still being kept hidden, but we at least get a sense of the scale of the battle. The visuals look stunning and we’re sure it’ll be a hit when it lands here next year. Anyone else catch Damon channelling his inner Robin Hood with those archery skills? Who needs a shelf when you’ve got Damon and a couple of arrows?

The Great Wall is released in North American February 17th, 2017, and is scheduled to be released in China in December 2016. UK audiences will get it on 24th February, 2017.
