New ‘The Walking Dead’ Sneak Peek Lands at New York Comic-Con

The AMC monster that is The Walking Dead is just two weeks away from its season 7 premiere. That means that we’re just two weeks away from finding out the identity of Negan’s victim everybody. When we left the show, a great deal of our favourite character’s lives were hanging in the balance.

The wait has been unbearable, but we at least know the fate of one character. If you can’t wait any longer to find out their fates, we can at least confirm the status (at least temporarily) of one of them. Check out this clip that landed at New York Comic-Con.

We imagine that the premiere is going to start with this very scene. It still doesn’t confirm who died, but writer Scott M. Gimple confirmed that by the end of episode one we will know who is no longer with us. It’s a fantastic little scene, the silence carrying so much power. The addition of Jeffrey Dean Morgan is definitely going to add something special to proceedings.

The Walking Dead returns to AMC on Sunday 23rd October. It’s going to be a long day of spoiler avoiding for UK fans though as we have to wait until Monday 24th October.
