Nine new ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ character posters revealed

With the fall movie season upon us, and with many eyes upon Rogue One, the Harry Potter spin-off film, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, has been garnering plenty of anticipation and hype, and with the film’s release date quickly approaching, a huge batch of character posters from Warner Bros have been released.

From Eddie Redmayne‘s Newt Scamander to Dan Fogler‘s No-Maj Jacob and even Colin Farrell and Ezra Miller‘s antagonists Percival Graves and Credence, respectively. The one-sheets are pretty colourful and fantastical; the marketing thus far has definitely managed to capture that wondrous, magical feel and tone of the original Harry Potter franchise, whilst showing that this film will be – forthcoming pun very much intended – its own beast entirely.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures.  Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.

David Yates is at the helm, and the film will open on November 18th, 2016.

For as long as I can remember, I have had a real passion for movies and for writing. I'm a superhero fanboy at heart; 'The Dark Knight' and 'Days of Future Past' are a couple of my favourites. I'm a big sci-fi fan too - 'Star Wars' has been my inspiration from the start; 'Super 8' is another personal favourite, close to my heart... I love movies. All kinds of movies. Lots of them too.
