The clock resets in first look at ’24: Legacy’

The first trailer for 24: Legacy, the reboot of the classic TV show 24 has debuted online. Set to debut next February directly after the Superbowl in a prime TV spot, the show looks to have all of the traits of the previous series’ with split screen visuals, ticking clocks and people looking towards the camera over the top of laptops.

Deadline has the official low-down on the plot.

It follows U.S. government officials crowing about how a Special Forces unit neutralized a vicious terrorist who was planning an attack on America. But six months later, the dead man’s people have found the Army Rangers who offed their leader. The vengeance is swift and nearly complete. But they failed to do one key thing: get Carter. Mistake.

There’s no Kiefer Sutherland this time around, but we do have Corey Hawkins (Straight Outta Compton) in the lead, backed by some acting heavyweights including Miranda Otto (Homeland) and Jimmy Smits (Sons Of Anarchy).

A two-night premiere for the show is planned for the nights of February 5th and 6th Stateside on Fox.
