‘Will and Grace’ may be returning to the small screen

will-and-grace-2017

Will and Grace, the hit TV sitcom which officially ended 10 years ago, could be winging its way back to screens after Deadline revealed that plans were afoot for a brand new season.

The trade blog says that talks are well underway following an election-themed reunion mini-episode. They say while original broadcaster NBC could be a possibility, a streaming service like Netflix will be more likely to host the return.

The show revolved around Will, a gay lawyer, and interior designer Grace who were best friends since college. Living in the same apartment complex, they’re constantly in each other’s business. Stirring the pot of melodrama is Grace’s “employee,” Karen, and Will’s flamboyant friend, Jack.

No news on whether Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes, who played the aforementioned character will return, but surely that’s a necessity. Expect talks to get underway soon.

Max Mutchnick and David Kohan created Will and Grace, which ran for eight seasons between 1998 and 2006.
