Karen Gillan to make directorial debut with ‘Tupperware Party’

Karen Gillan (Doctor Who, Guardians of the Galaxy) is set to make he directorial debut with a new indie film named Tupperware Party. The film is being set up at Mt. Hollywood Films, an outfit who are going to push out films in the $10 million-$40 million range.

Gillan wrote the film and will shoot it in her native Scotland in January, so reports Deadline. The actress is currently shooting the comedy/adventure sequel./rebott of Jumanji with Dwayne Johnson and Jack Black.

Not much info in terms of plot of her feature directorial debut – maybe it’ll revolve around the infamous ‘tupperware parties‘ where folks get together to buy plastic tins?
