Ghostbusters director Paul Feig may be looking to take on a new comedy feature headlined by Mindy Kaling.
The Fox-based comedy, which doesn’t have a title as yet, will be a vehicle for The Office and The Mindy Project star, which could see her appear opposite Emma Thompson. Variety reports that the story is said to be a combination of The Devil Wears Prada and Broadcast News, set in the world of late night television.
The director of Spy and Bridesmaids hasn’t officially signed on the dotted line as yet but it is looking promising.
Kaling has a lot on her schedule, including the Disney project A Wrinkle In Time and Ocean’s 8, which is now shooting in New York City.
