After months of speculation, and following the majority of filming being completed, Marvel Studios’ president Kevin Feige has confirmed that Michael Keaton is definitely playing the character of Vulture in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

In an interview with the Toronto Sun, Feige confirmed everything, alomst in passing.

Feige was asked about the villains in forthcoming Marvel movies, addressing 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok, 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War, and the aforementioned Spider-Man: Homecoming, also set for 2017.

“We’ve had a wish list, and most of them in the near-term are coming together. Cate Blanchett is playing Hela in Thor: Ragnarok. Michael Keaton’s Vulture in Spider-Man [Homecoming] is something. And of course, finally, we’re showcasing Josh Brolin’s Thanos (in Avengers: Infinity War). We’re looking forward to that very much,” Feige said.

The Spider-Man movie, a co-production with Sony is one of three Marvel movies set to hit cinemas in 2017 following Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 and Thor: Ragnarok, which is set for next November.

Spider-Man: Homecoming, directed by Jon Watts, hits cinemas on July 7, 2017.
