Ahead of a release in cinemas Stateside in December and the UK in January is Martin Scorsese‘s long awaited Silence. Andrew Garfield heads up the impressive cast of the film, for which we’ve just been treated to a new poster and some fantastic new stills.
The story revolves around two 17th-century Portuguese missionaries who return to Japan to minister to Christians who’ve been outlawed.
Adam Driver, Liam Neeson, Tadanobu Asano, Issey Ogata, Ciaran Hinds, Yosuke Kubozuka, and Yoshi Oida round out the cast of the film. Silence will open in the UK on January 1st, 2017.
