One of the biggest films to hit cinemas in 2017 is the DC Comics/ Warner Bros. fare Wonder Woman, the first in a long run of stand-alone comic book movies from the studio. The film, which stars Gal Gadot and Chris Pine, will arrive in cinemas next summer, and we have a brand new image from the film to share with you.
The new image shows off Wonder Woman’s sword, which is known as the god killer, apparently. It debuted courtesy of Entertainment Weekly.
Patty Jenkins, the film’s director, says the photo shows off a key moment in the film. She told the outlet:
“This is her moment. She’s heard all the terrible things about man’s land. But she’s also heard that mankind is in need and under duress. This is her great moment to make the decision to be the one to try and save them.”
Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya, Connie Nielsen and Lucy Davis also appear in the film, which will be in your local multiplex from 2nd June, 2017.
