The ‘Snatch’ TV series now has a teaser trailer

Snatch TV series trailer: Ten-part first series airs later in 2017.

Guy Ritchie’s second feature film Snatch was a huge cult classic when it was released back in 2000, and some people hold it in higher regard than his hugely impressive debut, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels just two years earlier. Well, now a new TV series is on the way from Crackle, and there is absolutely nothing that you can do about it. Watch the Snatch TV series trailer below.

Rupert Grint leads the cast as Charlie Cavendish, starring alongside alongside Dougray Scott as Vic Hill and Ed Westwick as Sonny Castillo. Nick Renton is the director for the series, which filmed in Manchester, England late last year. The initial ten episodes of the series will screen later in 2017, each of them running for an hour each.

As well as the Snatch TV series trailer, we also have a one-sheet poster for the new show, which you can also check out below.

As you can see, the new show airs for free on Crackle Stateside from March 16th, but there are no details as to where international audiences will be able to view it.

Here’s the plot anyway…

Inspired by a real life heist in London, the Snatch series centers on a group of twenty-something, up and coming hustlers who stumble upon a truck load of stolen gold bullion and are suddenly thrust into the high-stakes world of organized crime. The boys must quickly learn to navigate the treacherous waters of London’s underworld as rogue cops, gypsy fighters, international mobsters and local villains descend.

Snatch isn’t the first Ritchie film to be spun into a TV series though. Lock, Stock… had a short run on television in the year 2000, but was cancelled after just seven episodes.
