Black Panther set photos: First images from the Georgia set of the big Marvel movie, directed by Creed’s Ryan Coogler, which arrives in 2018.
The first Black Panther set photos have debuted online. The Ryan Coogler-directed Marvel Studios film, which will star Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa and Danai Gurira as Okoye, both of whom can be seen on set in these first photos. There’s also a look at Martin Freeman in the forthcoming movie.
Here a little background into the Marvel character, who we first saw on-screen in last year’s Captain America: Civil War.
T’Challa is a brilliant tactician, strategist, scientist, tracker and a master of all forms of unarmed combat whose unique hybrid fighting style incorporates acrobatics and aspects of animal mimicry. T’Challa being a royal descendent of a warrior race is also a master of armed combat, able to use a variety of weapons but prefers unarmed combat. He is a master planner who always thinks several steps ahead and will go to extreme measures to achieve his goals and protect the kingdom of Wakanda.
Shooting kicked off on Black Panther last week, and is just a couple of weeks of the start date of the next Avengers movie, Avengers: Infinity War, which will be directed by CACW helmers Joe and Anthony Russo.
