According to Deadline, France-based animation house Illumination, he people responsible for the likes of Despicable Me, Minions, The Secret Life Of Pets and this year’s Sing, have been allocated four new movie release dates by studio Universal.
The trade blog reports that the company will have four new release dates allocated to them: Friday, July 2, 2021; Friday, July 1, 2022; Wednesday, December 21, 2022; and Friday, June 30, 2023.
Obviously we don’t know which films will be released on those dates, but we’re excited to see what the studios come up with.
Illumination already has Minions 2 and Sing 2 on the horizon. We’re also expecting a Despicable Me 3 this coming summer too.
