Top 5 celebrity cars that you can lease

Everyone wants to lead the life of a celebrity. Whether it be eating in world-class gourmet restaurants, tanning ourselves on a sun-kissed beach in the Caribbean, or even cruising down the street in a great set of wheels. In this feature, we take a look at the top five cars that you can physically go out and lease to create the look of a high-paid, millionaire celebrity – if you’ve got the money to do so of course.

Bugatti Veyron – Owned by Floyd Mayweather

We are going to kick things off in style with the Bugatti Veyron – one of the fastest road cars on the planet. This stunning sports vehicle will set you back around $800,000 if you wanted to buy it outright, but should you want to lease it and give a knockout impression just like boxer Floyd Mayweather, then it is actually possibly to do so. The car does 0-60 in under three seconds, so pack quite the punch, is 100% street legal and it could be yours for the weekend for a paltry £45,000 – but that is for three whole days! However, there is a slight draw back in that you’ll need £100,000 up front purely for the deposit on the thing.

Porshe Panamera – owned by Kanye West

Let’s move onto something a little more affordable, but potentially still as glamorous – the Porshe Panamera, just one of many cars from the stable of one of the world’s most well-known brands. Fans of this sports car include musician Kanye West who has it firmly placed in his own car collection. You could be the proud leaser of this £70,000 vehicle for as little as £1000 a month – which didn’t think was all that bad – well, compared to the Bugatti anyway. The Porsche Panamera gets around 38 miles per gallon, has double wishbone suspension and five doors, so even if you’ve got a small family, you can still fit them all in.

Ferrari F430 – Owned by Andy Murray

We couldn’t really have a list of the top five celebrity cars without including a Ferrari, could we? Well, with the likes of Chris Evans, Jay Leno and even the world’s number one tennis star Andy Murray owning at least one Ferarri each, here’s our pick – the Ferrari F430. Now, this is another expensive one if you want to buy it outright as it will cost you just north of £170,000 from new, but is amongst the many lease cars on monthly rental. To lease it, it will cost a touch more than £3000 a month, which isn’t bad if you can start to imagine just how cool you could look in the glorious red with the iconic prancing horse logo on the front.

Mercedes-Benz SL Class Convertible – Owned by Justin Bieber

Let’s jump to another manufacturer for our penultimate choice. With celebrity fans like Kylie Jenner, Justin Bieber, Drake, Kevin Hart and even that aforementioned boxer Floyd Mayweather amongst its fans, not to mention Hollywood fixer Ray Donovan, it would be hard not to include a Mercedes-Benz. We’ve opted for the SL Class convertible to give you the look of a celebrity, with an affordable price. Well, ish. The Mercedes-Benz SL Class Convertible, we found, for around £1200 per month online – which is a great price as they really do look the business. You will, of course, need a hefty deposit, but with the distinctive style of the Benz, and with the stunning drop top, you could instantly look like a major Hollywood player.

Lamborguini Huracan – Owned by Dan Blitzerian

Finally on the list, we’ve opted for one which will definitely break the bank – but not too much. We’re going for the Lamborghini Huracan and preferable in bright lime green. Celebrity owners include the King Of Instagram and professional poker player, Dan Blitzerian, who has 13 million followers on the social network, and almost as many cars. The Huracan, which is four-wheel drive and 610 horsepower, is an absolute monster, and was named the ‘Super Car The Year’ 2014 by motoring magazine Top Gear. It comes at no surprise to learn that Huracan is Spanish for hurricane. It sells from around £155,000 upwards, but you can lease it for around £5,000 a month, which we thought was very reasonable indeed. We’ll have two.

So there you have it – a bunch of cars, which apart from the Bugatti at the very top, you don’t need to be a multi-multi millionaire to afford. We’d love to hear your thoughts on our choices, and what we may have missed.
