2017 Empire Awards nominations revealed

Empire magazine have announced their nominations for 2017. This year, Gareth Edwards’ Rogue One: A Star Wars Story leads the field with nine nominations including Best Actress and Best Film. Amy Adams receives a nomination for Best Actress in Arrival, having been snubbed by the Oscars, while the awesome Deadpool receives five nominations, including a nod for Ryan Reynolds for Best Actor.

The awards themselves will be dished out on Sunday 19th March at Camden’s Roundhouse, a new venue for the annual event which is voted completely by film fans and readers of the magazine. Cast your vote here.
