Tomb Raider set photos: Some images from South Africa show off Alicia Vikander as the iconic video game character, Lara Croft.
The first Tomb Raider set photos have landed online. The film is now shooting down in South Africa with Alicia Vikander starring in the lead role of Lara Croft.
Roar Uthaug, who directed the thrilling The Wave is helming the film, while Dominic West has been cast as Croft’s father, Daniel Wu appears as a ship captain and Walton Goggins is the main villain of the piece. Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Transformers: The Last Knight) wrote the film’s screenplay.
The Tomb Raider set photos were debuted online from the Daily Mail newspaper in the UK, and it looks like they’ve got the look of the character from the latest batch of video games absolutely right!
