Variety are reporting that Eva Green may star in Disney’s live-action re-telling of their classic story Dumbo. The trade reports that the former Bond star is looking to play the female lead in the planned film, which is set to be directed by none other than Tim Burton.
Ehren Kruger wrote the screenplay for the film, which tells the story of a a young circus elephant with enormous ears who is assisted by a mouse to achieve his full potential. It is based on Disney classic 1941 movie of the same name.
Word reaches us via the same trade article that Chris Pine will no longer be the film’s mae lead after a deal fell through earlier on this week.
