The Legend Of Tarzan and Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit screenwriter Adam Cozad has been hired by Warner Bros. Pictures to write the screenplay for Suicide Squad 2. There is currently no director for planned follow-up to last year’s summer DC villains movie, though Mel Gibson, Ruben Fleischer, Daniel Espinosa and Jonathan Levine have all been spoken about in same breath as the big-budget film.
No plot details as yet, obviously, or which villains may appear in the sequel, but Margot Robbie has already been confirmed to be starring in a spin-off called Gotham City Sirens, reprising her Suicide Squad role as Harley Quinn.
