Peter Parker skips school in new image from Spider-Man: Homecoming

We’ll have a new Marvel movie in cinemas next week with Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2, but cinema-goers won’t have too long to go until the next one. Jon Watts’ Spider-Man: Homecoming debuts in cinemas in July and Empire magazine has a new image from the film featuring Tom Holland as the title character.

The image is taken from the new issue of the movie magazine, which is on shelves soon.

Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, young Peter Parker (Tom Holland) returns home to live with his Aunt May. Under the watchful eye of mentor Tony Stark, Parker starts to embrace his newfound identity as Spider-Man. He also tries to return to his normal daily routine — distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just a friendly neighborhood superhero. Peter must soon put his powers to the test when the evil Vulture emerges to threaten everything that he holds dear.

Spider-Man: Homecoming also stars Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark/ Iron Man, as well as Marisa Tomei as Aunt May and Michael Keaton as chief bad-guy, Vulture. It will arrive in cinemas on 7th July, 2017.
