Fear The Walking Dead’s Cliff Curtis joins the ‘Avatar’ sequels

Cliff Curtis, who we last saw in the AMC series Fear The Walking Dead, has joined the cast of all four Avatar sequels for writer/ director James Cameron. The actor will be busy for the next few years on the project as he is set to play Tonowari, who is the leader of the Metkayin and the lead role in the films.

The news comes via Deadline who report that Curtis joins returning cast members Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington and Sigourney Weaver. Shooting on the films start next year with the first of the new movies set for December 18, 2020, with the other sequels to follow during the Christmas season of 2021, 2024 and 2025.

Curtis plays the role of Travis Manawa on Fear The Walking Dead will have his schedule for the show accommodated by producers on the Avatar movies.
