Vertigo Releasing have provided The Hollywood News with a brand new clip from Jawbone, their stunning new British amateur boxing drama that arrives in UK cinemas from today, Friday 12th May.
Written by and starring Johnny Harris (London To Brighton, This is England 86,88,90, Monsters: Dark Continent) alongside powerful performances from Ray Winstone, Michael Smiley and Ian McShane, Jawbone is the moving, raw story of one man fighting addiction and a system that has turned its back, and finding a path to redemption though a return to amateur boxing, and the last circle of people who will still believe in him. Utterly authentic, with the cast trained and choreographed extensively by legendary boxing promoters Barry and Shane McGuigan, and shot in a unique stripped-back British-Noir style, Jawbone is accompanied on screen by an atmospheric new score by Paul Weller.
