Zac Efron is set to show more of his serious side with the upcoming indie drama Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile over at Voltage Pictures. The film will see Efron, soon to be seen in the big screen Baywatch remake, plays the role of notorious serial killer Ted Bundy.
According to Variety, the film follows the dysfunctional relationship between Bundy and his long-time girlfriend Liz. Bundy, a killer and rapist of young girls and women who was notoriously charming, was executed in Florida in 1989.
The project is being directed by Ziad Doueiri and shooting is reportedly set to start this October.
