Jack Kesy is set to play the villain in Deadpool 2, and already there is tons of fan speculation as to who he may play. Deadline first reported the news of his casting, and even eluded to him possibly playing the role of Black Tom, a character they elaborated on a little further.
In the comics, he is a nemesis in the X-Men universe, a Dublin-born mutant who can manipulate, bond with, and project energy through plant life. He is also capable of issuing concussive blasts with a wooden object, usually a shillelagh.
Of course, this is merely speculation at this time, but he could fit the mould of this Marvel villain. What do you think?
Kesy can currently be seen in the Baywatch movie over at Paramount. Ryan Reynolds will return to the title role for the sequel, along with Morena Baccarin, back as Deadpool’s love interest Vanessa, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Stefan Kapacic as Colossus, and Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead. James Brolin will also play Cable.
