Thanks to the folks at Paddy Power we have this interesting infographic which takes a look at the actual cost of washing a professional football player’s football kit. With the huge European football cup final around the corner, where PP are offering the best champions league odds, the infographic reveals that it can cost up to £50,000 in laundry bills per club per year.
The infographic informs us that Arsenal, who just lifted the F.A. Cup this past weekend, forked out a whopping £49k over the season to wash their club’s football kit – all 1444 of them – since last summer, which equates to a huge £1,290 per full team kit, per wash. Madness. Of course, they were not the club to dish out the most £’s. That honour went to Sunderland who spent a huge £56k over the season.
