M. Night Shyamalan updates us on ‘Glass’

M. Night Shyamalan has updated us on the status of Glass, his highly anticipated sequel to both Unbreakable and this year’s Split. The film looks like it is moving along really rather nicely with the filmmaker already seemingly onto the third rewrite of the screenplay. Shyamalan took to Twitter earlier today:

“Finished the 2nd draft of #Glass on Friday. Took five weeks. Started the 3rd pass today… gave myself a three-week deadline for this pass.”

James McAvoy will return for Glass, alongside Unbreakable co-stars Samuel L. Jackson and Bruce Willis, whose character of David Dunn appeared in the final frames of Split, the character revived from Unbreakable, which debuted in cinemas back in 2000.

We’re expecting Glass in cinemas in January 2019. More news as it comes in.
