Writer and director of Mission: Impossible Christopher McQuarrie has released a new image of the main female cast of Mission: Impossible 6. The filmmaker dropped the new image of Vanessa Kirby, Angela Bassett, Rebecca Ferguson , and Michelle Monaghan in the photo from the set of the movie, which has now moved on to New Zealand.
Tom Cruise returns for the fifth sequel in the series, which began all of the way back in 1996. McQuarries has also assembled franchise regulars Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames to return, as well as Alec Baldwin and Sean Harris, the bad guy from the previous movie. Henry Cavill also has a role in the picture, which will be released in cinemas next summer.
McQuarrie also released another image earlier today, previewing what seems to be a high-octane stunt in the film. Check that out below. The planned release date for the film in July 27th 2018, so roughly a year or so to go.
