Is Fantastic Four getting a children’s reboot?

According to Bleeding Cool, 20th Century Fox are reportedly working on children’s reboot of the Fantastic Four franchise. The studio have to move on a project associated with the famous comic book otherwise the franchise rights will revert back to Marvel.

Bleeding Cool says that the planned film will have a vibe ‘far more reminiscent of The Incredibles‘, and will be penned by written by Seth Grahame-Smith (Pride and Prejudice and ZombiesAbraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter). According to the source, the story will concentrate on Franklin and Valeria, the children of Reed Richards and Susan Storm, while still having the Thing and the Human Torch along for the ride.

The 2015 reboot of Fantastic Four, directed by Josh Trank, brought in a total of $167 million from a reported $120 million budget.
