There are some pretty major rumours that the James Bond producers are about to jump on the ‘universe’ band-wagon and create one based around the world of 007. Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli are the two in the driving seat for the Bond franchise over at Eon.
Jeff Sneider, from web portal The Tracking Board, says the following:
“I’ve heard the Broccolis have caught Universe Fever and would love to explore other corners of the Bond franchise…simultaneously.”

So, what would this look like? I must admit, at this stage, thinking about it, I have absolutely no idea. Obviously they could head off and explore the worlds of other 00 characters, or even some of the background characters in the Craig movies, but surely for it to work it has to have a solid Bond to tie the world together. At the time of writing, Daniel Craig is still to commit to the 25th James Bond adventure, and even if he does, the odds of further films led by the actor are pretty slim.
