Amazon have released the very first images from Woody Allen’s next movie Wonder Wheel. The new film is shrouded in secrecy in terms of plot, but we do know that Kate Winslet, Justin Timberlake, Juno Temple and James Belushi are amongst the impressive cast of the film, which opens in December.
The new images come courtesy of The Playlist, who report that the film will be set in Coney Island, New York in the early 1950s, and will feature ‘larger-than-life characters, lovers, infidelity, and gangsters.’
Apparently Winslet’s performance is already attracting Oscar buzz, hence its December 1st bow Stateside, smack-bang in the middle of awards contention.
