It was back in 1939 that the Wizard of Oz, that being one of the most famous and most watched American musical fantasy films of all time was first premiered. It is a film that has somehow managed to survive the test of time and often is a film many people will name in their top ten films of all time.
Whilst the graphics may not be as amazing or as stunning as some of the more recently launched films, there is no getting away from the fact that Judy Garland who played the starring role, Ray Bolger, Jack Haley, Bert Lahr, Frank Morgan, Billie Burke, and Margaret Hamilton all played their roles well, and if you have not yet had time to watch that film yet then you really ought to!
One thing that has enabled a much younger generation to have an interest in that film however is that there are a range of different slot games and slot machines all of which come with a Wizard of Oz type of theme, and those slots are available to online, mobile and even land based slot machine players.
We have seen some quite funkier versions of the Wizard of Oz slot game over the years, however one we did find an absolute scream to play was the Ruby Slippers slot. With fantastic animated and character reel symbols, sampled sound effects and the chance of win big on any spin played off, that is definitely a slot worthy of your play time if you do enjoy having the occasional gamble that is!
If you are interested in finding out more about that slot game or where you can play it online we have found an ideal website to check out, and with that in mind please click here to visit that site and spend a few minutes finding out just what it has on offer, as we think you will be impressed by just what you could end up winning if you do decide to play it!
Do not worry about having to have access to huge amounts of cash to play that slot game, as it is available online and to anyone wishing to play on a mobile device as a free to play slot, so you will be able to play it for as long as you like at no risk, unless of course you wish to play it for real money!
The beauty of the Wizard of Oz film is that it is one of those films you can watch over and over again, and if you have any children they are going to enjoy it just as much as you will! It is still shown on many TV channels however it is a firm favourite on or around Christmas time each year.
The star of the film that being Judy Garland died way back in 1969, so she has sadly been gone for almost fifty years now, however she did go on to star in a huge number of other films, however none were as popular as the Wizard of Oz, and it is a film she will always be remembered by.
If you do have something of a passion for watching some of the older more classical movies, and you are also a fan of playing slot machines, then there are plenty of other blockbusting films of both years gone by and some of the more recent films that have been released, that have been brought back to life as the theme of slot machines.
As such you will have a ball when you start to research just what those slot machines are and where to play them. One thing worth knowing however about any slots that have been themed and branded around a major blockbusting film is that they do tend to offer a much larger range of bonus games and bonus features.
In fact, many of them will also come with a range of progressive jackpots too, so you will have the chance of winning big when playing them.
The main reasons why such slots do come jam packed full with additional bonus games and bonus features not found on other slot games is that they will have cost the company that designed them a small fortune in licensing fees, and as such those designers tend to spare no additional expense in regards to making them as highly appealing and as highly playable as they possibly can do!
