Legendary ‘Pacific Rim 2’, which is called Pacific Rim Uprising, had a big presence at the San Diego Comic Con on Thursday where there presented a recruitment new video, as well as a viral site GoJaeger.com. We also have some details of the Pacific Rim 2 plot below.
The accompanying message read:
A new generation of Jaeger Pilots will stand tall for all humanity. What is a Jaeger? It’s you, times a thousand. Witness the next evolution of human invention, with the unveiling of the Pan Pacific Defense Corps Mark VI Jaeger Program, and visit GOJAEGER.COM to discover if you have what it takes to join the biggest heroes ever to walk the Earth.
One day, the monsters will return.
The new website also revealed a new synopsis for the movie.
It’s been ten years since The Battle of the Breach and the oceans are still, but restless. Vindicated by the victory at the Breach, the Jaeger program has evolved into the most powerful global defense force in human history. The PPDC now calls upon the best and brightest to rise up and become the next generation of heroes. When the Kaiju threat returns, we will be ready.
Pacific Rim: Uprising will land in cinemas in 2018 with John Boyega , Scott Eastwood, Jing Tian, Wesley Wong, Lily Ji, Lan Yingying, Qian Yongchen, Zhang Jin, and newcomers Cailee Spaeny and Chen Zitong amongst its cast. Steven S. DeKnight (Marvel’s Daredevil) directs.
