HBO have debuted the very first trailer for Westworld season 2. The second series of the hugely popular series will arrive on the cable network in 2018. Westworld had a huge presence at the Con down in San Diego where a panel was hosted by Reggie Watts. Showrunners Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy we also there, as well as cast members Ben Barnes (Logan), Ingrid Bolsø Berdal (Armistice), Ed Harris (Man in Black), Luke Hemsworth (Stubbs), James Marsden (Teddy), Thandie Newton (Maeve), Simon Quarterman (Lee Sizemore), Rodrigo Santoro (Hector), Angela Sarafyan (Clementine), Jimmi Simpson (William), Tessa Thompson (Charlotte), Evan Rachel Wood (Dolores), Shannon Woodward (Elsie) and Jeffrey Wright (Bernard/Arnold).
Based on the film written by best-selling author Michael Crichton, Westworld is a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and evolution of sin. Set at the intersection of the near future and a reimagined past, the series explores a world in which every human appetite, no matter how noble or depraved, can be indulged.
